Brian Kotzin, MD Board Member

Brian Kotzin, MD has been committed to patient care, research, and teaching during his 25-year academic career. With his interest in developing novel therapeutics for rheumatic diseases, Dr. Kotzin joined Amgen Inc. in 2004 as Vice President of Global Clinical Development and Head of the Inflammation Therapeutic Area. He later served at Amgen as Vice President and Head of Medical Sciences, an integrated department comprised of Early Clinical Development, Molecular Sciences, Imaging Sciences, Clinical Immunology, and Computational Biology. Since 2015, Dr. Kotzin has been a consultant with a focus on developing new therapeutics for lupus and other autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
