The PPRC established by Lupus Therapeutics enables patients to review and provide input on clinical trial-specific documents, such as the study protocol itself and informed consent forms, to ensure the patient perspective is incorporated early in the research process. Through the combined early feedback of key scientific leaders and patients, we can help develop trials that are both scientifically sound and acceptable to the lupus community.

Members of the PPRC must apply and be selected to participate. Once selected, members will receive reading materials and videos that provide an overview of clinical research, including the drug approval process, clinical trial design, and examples of protocols.

Current members will serve on the PPRC until July 2024.
