The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) is the largest non-governmental, private funder of lupus research worldwide. The organization aims to transform treatment while advancing toward a cure by funding the most innovative lupus research, fostering diverse scientific talent, proactively seeking collaborations, and driving discovery toward better diagnostics, improved treatments, and ultimately, a cure for lupus. Because the LRA’s Board of Directors funds all administrative and fundraising costs, 100% of all donations support lupus research programs.

The LRA believes that research is the most powerful way we can improve the lives of people living with lupus, both today and over the long-term. By pushing the limits of scientific exploration and shepherding new discoveries into potential treatments, the LRA aims to seize every opportunity that can help ease the burden on people living with this difficult disease.
